Indython registration opens as the clock counts down, get ready to secure your spot! Indython Registration reopens at the stroke of midnight ET on New Year’s Eve — exactly 12:00 AM ET on January 1, 2026 (the moment New Year’s Eve becomes New Year’s Day).

Standalone event registrations open as explained below:

• CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon registration opens 1/1/26 and closes 11/4/26 subject to availability and sell out. Don’t wait – the 2025 race sold out in September!
• Indianapolis Monumental Mile & 5K opens 2/1/26 and closes at 7:30am 6/20/26 Race Morning subject to availability and sell out.
• Indy Half at Fort Ben registration opens 3/1/26 and closes 9/30/26 subject to availability and sell out.

No, you can either register for INDYTHON and all included races in one combined registration, or you can register for each race individually. Your registrations must be under all the same name, email address, and other participant information to be automatically recognized as INDYTHON.

As long as you sign up for and finish all races in the INDYTHON race series, you’ll automatically be eligible to pick up your INDYTHON award after finishing your respective distance at the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, Half Marathon, & 5K.

Your registrations must be under all the same name, email address, and other participant information to be automatically recognized as INDYTHON.

Once you finish all races in the INDYTHON series, you’ll be able to pick up your INDYTHON award after finishing your respective distance at the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, Half Marathon, & 5K.

Proceeds from Beyond Monumental events support the Apex Benefits Monumental Kids Movement presented by IU Indianapolis, a seven-to-nine-week youth running program that culminates with students running a 5K. We will not have standalone virtual races this year. 

Interested in virtual options for 2026?

If you’re interested in virtual options only, register for Marathon in a Month instead to complete 26.2 miles* – in increments – during the month of November.

*Marathon in a Month is specific to the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon registered event and does not count towards Indython awards. 

INDYTHON awards will be available for pick up in the Results & Awards Tent at the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, Half, and 5K on November 7, 2026.
